Objective

To provide support for postgraduate research training in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), with a focus on implementation research on malaria, tuberculosis, neglected tropical diseases, One Health, surveillance and pandemic preparedness.

Target audience

LMIC nationals interested in developing a career in implementation research on infectious diseases of poverty.

Gender distribution

Among 486 Master’s students trained since 2015, 240 are women (49.8%), 245 are men (50.8%) and one (0.2%) is transgender. Of the eight PhD students, one is a woman.
